I have acted in more than 250 movies with almost 20 years experience in this industry. I started my acting career in 1983. My first movie was ‘Kai Kodukum Kai’ along with super star Rajinikanth and Revathy. I have also acted in many movies like Raja Chinna Roja, Adisiya Piravi with the super star. I have innumerable hit movies to
my credit. A few of them are Raja Chinna Roja, Chinna Poove
Mella Pesu, Eerammana Rojave, Kizhaku Vasal, Idhayam, Chinna Pulla,
Kannethire Thondrinal, Dum Dum Dum, Gokulam, Lakshmi Vandachu

PRODUCTION AND DIRECTION I am the youngest comedy and character artist to have successfully produced, acted and released two movies in Tamil called 'Chinna Pulla' and ‘Unakaga Mattum’. 'Unakaga Mattum' was a unique attempt. This was the first movie I directed. I take credit for introducing many new comers in various categories. The hero, heroine, music director, dialogue writer, editor, lyric writer were all- new. Such an attempt with so many new comers was last made in 1980 (Oru Thalai Ragam). This
movie also made me the youngest comedy actor /director along the
footsteps of genius like Chandra Babu and others who attempted this
in their 50’s TELEVISION I have always balanced cinema and television, throughout mycareer. I produced and acted in two television serials namely ‘Mazhai Varuthu’ and ‘Kadanayaki’. I did the lead roles in many television seriels like 'Smile Please', 'Chennaikku Vantha Singaram', 'Tharayil Erungum Vimanangal', 'Kanavu Kannan'. I have hosted a comedy show for Raj Television called ‘Comedy Time’ I am currently hosting a comedy show on Star Vijay called ‘Sagalai Vs Ragalai’ which has crossed 150 episodes on date. This show has captured the imagination of viewers and has gained a high rating. I have lent my voice to many jingles, commercials, and radio spots for many popular products and channels. |
